Had a complete bike built here, along with complex and high-end composite Berd spokes. John Proctor is a super-nice guy but he'll be honest with you about what's best. I called Pro Bikes thinking something was wrong with my BB as I had incessant creaking, but with a race in a few days I was worried about turn around times to be ready for the race. We came up with a plan over the phone, and upon inspection at the shop found the issue to be as simple as the chain! Guys at PBT were awesome for my mtn bike rebuild. Super knowledgeable and did a great job on doing a full rebuild on both forks and shock + serviced/rebuilt rear suspension linkage. Bike feels so much more supple and made sure to set sag and suspension pressures when I went to pick it up. You can tell they love mtn bikes and will definitely be back.

The shop provide a very unique vibe. Everyone is so friendly and chill. Great people to talk to if you are enthusiastic about bikes! Went there because my dropper remote was broken, they were able to resolve the problem within 30min while other shops couldn't (either not having supply in stock or long waiting time). So I was able to enjoy the rest of my MTB trip! Highly recommended!

Hands down the best bike shop in TEXAS! Not your average bike shop, these guys go above and beyond. I don't let any one else touch my bikes other than John and Pablo.. Once you go PRO you won't go broke!

I have been going to John and Pablo for service/repair for the past 2 years every time I see them they do an amazing job and make my bike feel brand new again. I’ve visited plenty of other shops and in my experience they are by far the best bike mechanics in Houston. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment at pro bikes.

Move over New Bike Day and make Room for Pro Bikes Texas Tune day! Recently, brought my Canyon Neuron to Pro Bikes Texas for maintenance, and the results are better then when taking the bike out of the box! Wish I had brought my bike to them sooner, the results are amazing and makes riding even more enjoyable. Pablo and John took excellent care of my bike, communicated and updated all through the process. Will gladly make the trek from DFW to Houston for all current and future MTB Tuning needs!

Best mountain bike service shop I’ve encountered in Houston. Extremely reasonable turnaround time, personal service, and great attention to detail. I’ve seen high end road bikes in the shop before but I only have mountain bikes so that’s been my personal experience with Pro Bikes. Highly recommend.
