Our top Alu minum Fram Journeyer Model. This one has the best Shimano GRX 810 gravel specific 1x 11 speed drivetrain with excellent 11-42T gear range. The Journeyer geometry is very stable and comfortable for all road and gravel road conditions. Still this rig doubles as your casual road bike.
Gravel Geometry – Journeyer is comfortable, stable and confidence inspiring whether it’s your daily driver, you’re ripping up dirt paths through town, exploring unfamiliar terrain, or entering your first gravel race. Spirited when you want it to be, but relaxed enough to leave you with the energy for long rides.
WAXWING CARBON FORK – The Waxwing fork features carbon construction with an aluminum steerer. The 12 x 100 mm thru-axle keeps the front end stiff, so it goes where you point it. We designed Waxwing to carry a load, with two sets of Three-Pack mounts and mid-blade rack mounts. Internal Dynamo Hub Cable Routing and fender mounts make it easier to ride in all conditions. Tire clearance is a huge 700c x 50 mm or 650b x 56.5 mm (27.5 x 2.25"), so you can run a wide range of wheels and tires. An abrasion-resistant plate on the inside of the fork prevents wear from mud and other road debris.
6061-T6 Aluminum Tubeset – Top-shelf, double and triple-butted, heat-treated 6066-T6 aluminum tubing is used throughout the frame. This 6000-series aluminum has better strength and fatigue characteristics than 6061 and 7000-series aluminums, allowing for a stronger and lighter overall frame. Additionally, the tubing is strategically shaped and formed for additional stiffness and strength optimization in key stress areas
DROPPER POST INTERNAL ROUTING – Internal dropper post routing makes it easy to outfit your Journeyer for more technical riding.
