Brought my bmx in for a chain replacement they did great

I have a will maintained classic 1999 Specialized Stumpjumper PRO, the rear shock (1999 Fox Vanilla Float Air) was not able to hold the air pressure and also leaking oil. I called Fox official service; they told me that they are not able to repair it since they only service the products that less than 10 years old. After called Pro Bikes Texas and discussed what my problem is, they be able to help me with this issue. They also suggest service front shocks as well since it has been 20+ years. They also fixed the break noise which long exist on this bike since the first day I purchase this bike. I am very happy with the result of their work. The charge is reasonable. My old bike is back to alive again. I highly recommend this shop to everybody. Greate job! Thanks.

Went in with a minor repair on a lower end bike. I was initially nervous because it seemed like they only messed with top of the line bikes, however they took the time to explain to me what was wrong and fixed the issue in less that 15 mins. Awesome place.

I recently had the pleasure of having my FELT SRAM crank serviced by John, and I am thoroughly impressed with the results. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional, showcasing not only the technical expertise but also the passion for cycling that John and his crew brings to their work. Since the service, I have noticed a significant improvement in the performance of my FELT. The crank operates with a smoothness and efficiency that I haven’t experienced before. Shifting is seamless, and the power transfer feels incredibly responsive. John also informed me a lot about my bike including the built-in power meter and the SRAM App. a 5-star service. Thank you John!

Great shop, fantastic owner and friendly staff! I brought my road bike here for a major overhaul. It sat in a box for a decade and John too the time and talked me over what he would do it and he restored it back to glory! Price was fair and the bike is good as new. I’m a very happy customer and will be going here for any bike needs

Pro Bikes is the only bike shop I trust. I’ve used the big brand bike shops around town and have had about 50% positive experiences. Ever since I started taking my bikes to John, it’s been 100% positive. A few weeks ago, I needed to replace my forks for a weekend trip. They arrived on Thursday and figured no bike shop could get them replaced on time. I started doing the work myself Friday morning. In the middle of the work, I realized I needed a specialty tool that I didn’t have. I called John to see if he could help. He offered to replace the forks during his lunch time. I took the bike and new forks. He replaced them while we chatted about bike maintenance. Great experience. Thanks John for helping me make the bike trip!

Had a complete bike built here, along with complex and high-end composite Berd spokes. John Proctor is a super-nice guy but he’ll be honest with you about what’s best. It’s Pro Bikes, not Wal-Mart, take your cruiser bikes elsewhere. If you have a high quality bike and care about top performance, take it to the best bike mechanic in Houston.

I am very grateful for finding this gem of a bike shop! John is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly has the best interest of his customers in mind. I was blown away with my first experience buying 1 little LED light. John’s welcomed me in the shop, showed me around, demoed the light and offered sound advice. I returned today to get their help finish building a MTB for my son with little time to spare before Christmas (with no appointment). John went above and beyond what I was expecting them to do! Keep up the great work!

100% one of the best bike shops I’ve been in. Great service and fair prices. The guys working there are all so nice also.
